Pleased this makes me, Sam I am.

I had never really thought about it before, but Yoda makes a great Dr. Seuss character. And when it really comes down to it, Star Wars reeeeally lends itself to a Dr. Seuss style story. Lucky for you, someone else thought of putting the two together so that you don’t have to.

We have cartoonist Adam Watson to thank for doing all the hard stuff (you know, coming up with the idea, executing the idea…). He has illustrated a series of Star Wars/Dr. Seuss mash-up pictures and they’re really awesome. You can check them out here.

Spidey on the Big Stage

Now I had heard about this some time ago, but that was it. It has been confirmed, though, that there is indeed a musical version of Spider-Man in the works. Featuring music written by members of U2?

Spider-Man: Turn off the Dark will feature villains such as Green Goblin, Kraven, the Lizard and (gasp) Carnage. I can’t wait to see Carnage sing and dance while he brutally murders people, but maybe that’s just me. Lots of new information was just released about plot lines and costumes and stuff, and you can check it all out at /Film.

More like “The Amazing Face”

It’s Friday, and while most people are getting antsy and restless at their “real” jobs because it’s nearly five o’clock, I am getting ready for work, and this is what I feel like. (Apparently you have to click on the image because I can’t make .gifs work. Not sorry).

Apparently this is a clip from The Amazing Race… Where they had to catapult watermelons or something… Whatever, I don’t care, I have to go to work now. HAVE A GOOD WEEKEND, EVERYONE.

Something for the little people

I couldn’t care less about your middle-school-aged child or the honor roll that they may or may not be on. Maybe it’s because I never made the honor roll… I’M NOT BITTER, THOUGH, I SWEAR. Luckily, now that I am 24-years-young, there are bumper stickers for parents who have like children like me.

Luckily, I’m not alone with my “I don’t give a shit about your smart kid” attitude. Over at Zero Lives, they’ve come up with some pretty funny video game achievement bumper stickers… You know, the stuff that matters in the real world. Check out the post here for more!

I almost wouldn’t want to eat them…

Now I’m not much of a breakfast eater, but I think stormtrooper-shaped pancakes are the only thing that could change my daily routine.

Williams-Sonoma seriously knows where it’s at. You can buy Darth Vader, Yoda and stormtrooper-shaped pancake molds that will make your breakfast out of this world (see what I did there?)! Check them out here, and check out their confectionery counterparts (featuring Boba Fett!) here.

Roll into my office.

Although not quite as awesome as the luggage that provides maximum comfort, the portable office is pretty excellent.

This multi-piece, portable office provides not one but two chairs, a desk and a shelving unit to provide a professional environment for all of your super-important business transactions. Take it anywhere you want to go and look totally crazy successful. Look at this and tell me that guy isn’t respected by his peers.

The Wolfgang likes this.

As the internet makes humanity more and more lazy, products are being created to emulate the internet experience IRL and that’s terrible.

This isn’t so terrible, though, as I often wish I could “like” things outside of Facebook. This is a rubber stamp created so you can “like” physical pieces of paper instead of your imaginary, made-up, internet friends’ statuses. You can check it out here.

So if you haven’t seen a trailer for Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, I suggest you watch this video IMMEDIATELY.

The movie stars Michael Cera, Anna Kendrick, Jason Schwartzman and Brandon Routh. Also, it’s directed by Edgar Wright of Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz fame. It comes out on August 13th so GET PSYCHED.

The Hot Sharp Seat

Seat’s taken. And it’s a good thing!

Psych! I would love to sit on this cactus chair! Because it’s totally awesome, and apparently it’s some sort of experiment to “investigate the effect of visual data to the user’s experience something something.” Check it out here. And then buy me one. For $3,000.

Everything looks better when it’s 8-bit

So Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog is pretty much one of the best things to come out of the Great Writer’s Strike of ’08. Leave it to Doctor Octoroc to shatter my perception of reality by re-making it 8-bit AND in the style of a turn-based RPG. AWESOME!

If you don’t know what I’m talking about, that’s too bad, but I’ll fill you in. Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog was a three-part web series directed by Joss Whedon during the writer’s strike. It stars Neil Patrick Harris, Nathan Fillion (Firefly) and Felicia Day (The Guild). You should check out the trailer here. It’s so awesome that the DVD version comes complete with Commentary! The Musical! You can check out Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Game here.

Thanks to Casey, who could make it into The Evil League of Evil with nothing but a letter of recommendation from yours truly.
